History All Around:
The Alabama Gulf Coast is full of history from one end of the island to the other.  Start your historic journey at Fort Morgan as you see re-enactments for wars from long ago and see artifacts in the museum.

Stop midway in Gulf Shores as you visit the Gulf Shores Museum and find information about fishing past and hurricane history.  Explore the outdoor garden and all the beautiful birds and butterflies.

Make your way to the other end of the island to experience the Orange Beach Indian and Sea Museum.  This exhibit is full of artifacts and information about Native American Tribes and Spanish explorers

    If you are over the Mobile way be sure to stop in and see the historic USS Alabama.  This ship was damaged during Hurricane Ivan and has since reopened.  Don't miss this wonderful example of our Naval history.
